So let me get this straight - since apparently I am no longer tech savvy.

The Kiwi device plugs into the vehicles OBDII port, and transmits ECU real time data to your iphone.

The Dashcommand app on your iphone interpets that data from the Kiwi device, and makes it into a pretty and easy to read live engine function display on your iPhone, that the user can customize.

When you connect the iphone to the Pioneer head unit via a cable, the head unit uses an app called CarPlay to display the same engine function display that is on your iphone, onto the head unit display.

Is this correct?
