I flushed my brakes on my Nismo the other day - 8 bleeder valves easy peasy....However, I decided to tackle the 4 bleeder valves on the my wifes Mercedes Benz brakes yesterday..I am leary of doing it as I hate euro engineering even the simple stuff...but I did all the research etc. No service tech manual anywhere unless you want to pay 100's of dollars per day to use their system ...so I piece together a DIY from a Merc forum where most of these guys do not work on their cars (torque, etc) ....I get past the first bleeder no problems....second one nope ...tightened the bleeder valve barely too tight...crap, brake fluid started to leak out of said bleeder valve. Not only that I F'up the delicate threads within the caliper and now its got air in the brake system. Looked online to see which brake caliper it has to replace it myself...since its a euro car their is nothing designating it to the particular model I have and there are three different types of calipers with no physical picture of any of them, and absolutely no part number on the caliper...Also since its a euro car I find out there is some special machine you need to hook it up to...to get all the air out...
I decided fuk it... dropped it at the dealership...bye. Let them piece it together...I would rather pay. I will stick with Japanese and America cars...
