***UPDATE***
After breaking the axle, we had around two and half months to prepare for Zdayz... and we decided that we were not going to rebuild the motor and focus primarily on removing weight and adding aero to the nismo.

Since we were going to be using this car primarily for 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile events, we decided that an NHRA certified roll cage, parachute, smaller rear wheel coupled with a larger tire and less weight were going to be the main things to focus on.

Next up, was removing the rear nismo spoiler and incoporating a drag spoiler along with the stroud chute and mount.

The akebono rear calipers had to be removed and base nissan 350Z brake calipers were used to allow the 15 x 11 Belak Industries wheel to fit.

The rear bumper was modified to help reduce any drag that could potentially occur and the rear section of the fast intentions exhaust was removed and turn downs were made!

We were able to purchase another stock axle to get the nismo going as the vendor that we are talking to for aftermarket axles was unable to have them completed by Zdayz...but stay tuned as we are working on providing aftermarket axles at an affordable price

Zdayz was the first time that anybody had seen the new setup and we received a number of compliments about it, but our biggest test would be at the half mile event on sunday. At first we were concerned as rain was in the forecast but that was not the case when we arrived as it was cloudy and cooler.

We left Zdayz late saturday afternoon to come back and prepare for the Wannagofast event which included swapping the slicks out for ET street radials...

First pass off the trailer on our high boost setting (13 psi) we hit 155.25 mph, which was a good sign as we had hit that same mph with our GTR kill boost setting (15 psi) in Georgia!

The car consistently ran a 155 pass after pass on our high boost setting, we made a few changes to tire pressures and looked over the tune and went out on our GTR kill boost setting and clocked in a 156.35 mph! Resetting the record of the 155 that we had set back in 2016!

*We also got to test the chute and meet Gidi*

Next up on the agenda is we wait for the prototype axles to be made and a few other drivetrain goodies we are testing and we are going to go back out on the stock motor and attempt to lower on times significantly! Stay tuned!
