I'm running stock gearing and what I have noticed is that the SC starts to build boost at about 3Krpm. When cruising at ~80mph the BOV flutters a little and the boost gauge is showing 0psi which means that the SC is supplying more air than the engine needs at 3Krpm. So, if you drive mildly and shift before 3K you won't notice much difference with the exception of the ECUTEC tune which gives you a hyper throttle response (which makes the car feel much more responsive to the throttle). So if you want to go fast make sure you are in the upper rpm range where the SC can push some air. I have also noticed that the rpm drops by 1.5K rpm from each gear change so if you are shifting at redline your next gear up the engine will be right at 6K which is still making a lot of HP.
Anyway you look at it BOOST will put a big grin on your face and lay some rubber on the road!
