Do NOT press in the clutch as that will allow the car to start up right away.

Two pushes on the button are required to get to the ON position. Exactly 3 seconds after that depress the gas pedal fully 5 times. Come off the pedal each time. 7 seconds after the last depression, hold down the pedal for EXACTLY 10 seconds, release for 10 seconds, hold down AGAIN for 10 seconds. Turn the ignition OFF...

Start back up regularly and the CEL should be gone. There has been a couple of times that I had to go through the procedure a few times as my timing was a little off, but it finally always works. A lot cheaper than buying a code reader as long as you know why you're getting the CEL in the first place.
The other CEL reset is putting your penis in the left exhaust pipe. Either way, you'll be embarrassed when a neighbor catches you trying to reset your ECU.
