In January, allegedly Nissan was going to show us a Z concept at the Tokyo Auto Show, which isn't until the end of October.

I imagine we'll hear something much more definitive by then.
"Not a priority" just means they are having more internal meetings over the next Leaf or Juke or whatever.
If it doesn't happen then so be it, but until they release a press statement saying "the Z car is officially discontinued" (as they did for the roadster, BTW...) I wouldn't sweat it too much just yet.
