Call the insurance adjustor, tell him you want to speak with his supervisor NOW. When the supervisor gets on the phone, inform him that you will be filing a complaint with the insurance commissioner about the resolution of this claim. This is a factory part, that should have arrived at the shop a week to 10 days after the car was accepted for repair. Give them 48 hours, then call and talk to the supervisor's supervisor. Keep kicking it up the chain until someone lights a fire under the adjustor. If it is a national company like Progressive, Nationwide, Allstate, etc; hit their Facebook page and blast them there for jerking you around on the claim. Tell everybody who will listen that they are a crap company and jerk people around on claims. It's past time for being nice, it isn't the body shop's problem, it's the insurance company that won't pay for the part.

Time to light some fires......
