you know, notwithstanding those issues, if you wanna talk about poor quality - look to the USA built cars such as GM/Ford/Chrysler, or Australia - Ford / Holden (subsidiary of GM). Those cars are known for bad quality.

Or just keep to your Hondas. The closest car is probably the S2000. I dont know the cost of it in USA though? But you wont get the performance and the S2000 is starting to get a tad old now.
