Which has always been something mingboggling to me why they are allowed to overbook/oversell flights in the first place. You have a FINITE number of seats, once they are sold they are sold.
If somebody misses their flight, tough **** they paid for their seat.
If their employees need seats, book them!
It ain't rocket science.

**** use to piss me off at the hotel where I worked too. Overbook the rooms? No problem, find them lodging, even if it is 50 miles away because every baseball team on the planet is in town for spring training.
