Default Z Speed Undershroud Install

To make oil changes a bit easier, I pulled the trigger on a Z Speed Undershroud. It has a nifty latch for oil changes, it looks great in brushed aluminum, and I hear it gains you a whole 50 whp!!! Haha not really, but it does look good. The install is SUPER easy if you can get under the car (See my DIY for how to build Rhino Ramp Extensions).

What you need:
10mm socket/ratchet
Flat head screwdriver

Step 1: From front of the car passenger side left to right, start removing the bolts and pop clips from the undershroud. The undershroud is the plastic piece connected to the bottom of the front bumper. There are 4 rows of bolts/pop clips. Don't force anything because they should unscrew or release very easily.

Step 2: while removing bolts/pop clips, put them in a safe place in the order you removed them. Mine looked like this:

After you remove all of them, the undershroud should immediately fall off and probably hit you on the face. Haha don't worry, it's like 2 lbs total.

If you have trouble removing a bolt, us a rotary tool to cut out the section from the undershroud. That will give you more room to get that pesky bolt off...

To install the new shroud, follow the reverse steps and you're done! See?! Super easy!
