Usually a high idle means that there is a vacuum leak. If you can do a smoke test or try checking all vacuum lines for damaged or cracks. I don't know why the dealership told you to replace a coil and plug for a certain cylinder when you did have a p0303 for example and they verified it. from what I've seen clogged cats can cause a misfire as well.
