After replacing the battery in fob the key light still comes on and will not start like it should if I play around it will start sometimes but still will not shut off. It threw a code for loss of communication to HVAC. Only code that is in it anyone have any ideas

Edit: the ECM is somewhere in the passenger footwell - check it for moisture. Not sure where the BCM is located but would check it too.
