There's ways around all that. Nissan doesn't use their own maps. The whole GPS program is made by another company. You can get the update for stitched maps directly from map vendors since most use the same formats for everything. Why pay the dealer markup??? |
To say the least, my experience with updating OEM GPS systems in cars is about nil
So, I didn't know there were work-arounds. Kinda cool though.
