They are off the car, now would be the time to fix it right. Easy to drill a small hole at the end of the crack on each side and weld the crack up. Even if the buyer cant weld, most any muffler shop around me would do that for next to nothing. As it would take literally maybe 20 seconds to weld it up. Slap some flame proof paint on there and they'll be fine.
