The multi-link refers to multiple "links" which make up the suspension design. The only difference is the rear setup is now true-type, coil over damper. Has nothing to do with multilink. Those are separate components.
It's still going to have a traction, camber and mid link like the current car does. Those are the components that make up the "multilink". It's just missing the outboard spring because it's on the damper now.
Edit: Take a look at the Infiniti website and look up the rear suspension specs. This is what it'll say: Independent, multi-link with coil springs over Dual Flow Path® shock absorbers, stabilizer bar[*]
People don't realize this is the same chassis as the G37 with a few modified stampings. They just managed to void the car of any steering feel, exhaust sound and soul.
