And on the other end of the spectrum I never felt like I had to hold back because the Vette in front of me couldn't go fast enough. I can only imagine the new GS being even better. I know my current C6 GS is every bit as nimble as my Z was and obviously faster in a straight. I've auto-x a regular C6 Vette and will agree that it did not feel as nimble as the Z did. You really had to fight to get it to turn in and then on exit you would feel over rotated. The C7 vettes I've driven on canyon roads were no less nimble than my Z and just as confident inspiring. Of course the way a car feels is very dependent on the person driving it, but I've never felt the C7 (regular or Z51) was lacking in any way compared to the Z. I'm sure the new GS is even better
I guess it depends on the road, a cannyon road with long wide sweepers I can see how it makes sense there, but say a really tight backroad like 90% of roads in TN, its just too much of a car, the Z feels just right with its power/weight ratio and size. The c7 needs a really wide less curvy road to open it up and enjoy it. Probably depends a lot on tires too, the Z had continental DWs at that point and C7 had supersports
