Meaning that the coolant stays in the heat exchanger longer for more cooling efficiency. In addition to that the Intercooler itself is over sized for the 1 and 1.5 kits. as well as the supercharger will not be maxing out its capabilities meaning the whole unit will stay super cool.
I didn't mean cooling issues with respect to the unit itself, or the intercooler -- just the general buildup of heat within the engine compartment that gets into everything when running a FI system...raising overall temps.

An active venting arrangement could pull cool air up and out through the hood, which would help when sitting idling. Small high-speed fans could be mounted in the hood, with electrical wiring running up the back near the hinges. Perhaps this might offer a good compromise slightly narrowing the differences between water and A2A.

Just a thought.
