Hi Anoman

My 2012 roof has failed and Nissan Australia has refused any assistance even though the soft top fabric was replaced under warranty and now we are being quoted $19000 AU to replace complete unit. dealer has managed to close roof and remove audible alarm when driving. i am considering purchasing parts from America. my Question is how to open rear cover manually as roof wont operate now. i have read in an manual how to open manually but not sure if that will effect electrical switches. i am told by dealer that a main cylinder has failed and been leaking fluid so assume reservoir would be low.

Any advice welcome as a roof replacement seems exorbitant. Sad for a car less than 5 years old
