So you got it up to 230, a perfectly fine temp. Hell even 260 is fine, as long as it isn't continuous, with modern synthetic oils and it's only the overprotective nanny limp mode that causes problems. And if you're really worried because you usually run at 240-250 all the time just use 5w-40 instead it will give you the same lubrication as 5w-30 at the higher temp. Or you can just throw money at fixing something that isn't a problem.
