Below is the list of all cars sold for 2016. Look at the number of two seat sports cars sold and you'll see that it's a very small percentage of cars sold. For a manufacturer to invest big R&D dollars on a one off car, with small sales, just does not make any financial sense and Carlos Ghosn is a $$'s & sense guy. So for a new Z to exist, it will have to share a lot of other components with other Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.

I'm in with you on your specs predictions.

I don't see it being a 500hp hybrid like the article hints as a rumor.

I see it being 400hp maybe 425hp to separate the Z and the Q. The nismo will be 450hp since they already stated than an ipl version of the Q was on the bill with 450hp.

The dct is fine with me if it works. If it's the same one on that cla merc I have at the house god help us.

Weight I'd say will be close. The engine is lighter now and whatever extras for safety I think it'll come in at 3350-3450lbs
