Had Injen. It rained for two months straight here last June and July. Barely got a few water drop marks on the pipes. Not to say it isn't possible of course, but mine went through a lot of nothing that even resembled a concern never mind an actual problem. I was lowered on coilovers at the time too.

That said, would that design likely be more prone to contributing to hydrolocking than others? The practical answer has to be yes.
