6MT Shift Gate Feels Different After CSC Replacement
I had the CSC and Clutch Master Cylinders replaced a couple of weeks ago after the well known CSC failure. The dealer had to drop the transmission to get to the CSC. I swear that the 4th to 5th and 5th to 6th gear change feels different, like I have to search for the correct spot for the lever to move to the next position. I bought the car new in 2009 so my muscle memory knows when something seems different. Previously the 4th to 5th gear changes were very smooth and the lever seemed to move through the gate without hesitation and the 5th to 6th shifts were just straight back with gentle pressure to the right. Am I imagining things or is something out of adjustment after they dropped the transmission ? I also think it is not as smooth, I had Redline oil in the transmission and they refilled with their bulk gear oil.
