For me, I'm still madly in love with my 09 Touring. I purchased it brand new and it only has 17,000 miles on it today. Shortly after purchase I got married, bought a house, had a baby and sent my step son to college, so the Z became my garage queen. Now all these years later I finally have the time and money to spend on her and I really have no desire to replace her. Yes, the stereo is sub par (the premium stereo in my 2012 Civic EX-L is 10x better then the Bose in the Z.... sad) and for some the headlights are somewhat outlandish, but I think she is so damn sexy. I still turn heads everywhere I go. If she was my daily driver, I would agree with what most are saying here, but as a weekend or road trip car, I still lover her to death.

It seems alarming to me people just want to have little to zero driving involvement anymore, and I rarely see more than one person in these suv/cuv things. They're ultra annoying because you cannot see around them, and for some reason unknown to me: Honda CRV drivers believe that they have carbon ceramic F1 style braking ability/love to tailgate, and drive aggressively in unsafe areas, yet, the same people when on an open country road all of a sudden a switch flips in their brain and they're now petrified of going around turns and force you into a 40-60mph up/down in the speed instead of being able to relax with the cruise control on. Then they wonder why they go through brakes more often and people try to then pass them in unsafe areas after patience has worn thin. It's just a lazy purchase decision in my mind.

I can fit firewood n beer just fine in my car, and only having 2 seats has gotten me out of having to cart people around If I need to move anything, I just pay movers, they can do it better and it's not that much more money. So to me, owning a Z works just fine, so lets pray the next one isn't some watered down bs because Nissan and most giant corporations want to scale out production and the nitch buyer has to resort to more expensive brands.
