Didn't know if the combo of the brake and battery light was Nissan in some sort of throttle safety mode. My Camaro once did something like that when the TPS went out. It flashed some combo of lights and continued to run at idle, but wouldn't rev up.

2007 Altima with battery light & brake light on..... hmmmm
My suspicion is that it probably has 2 problems. First, I'll bet the e-brake is engaged, which is why the car won't 'go'. Second problem, battery light on, the alternator/serpentine belt/belt tensioner is shot. My money is on the alternator.
