Ok had a chance to look at my own vehicle and snap a few photos.

Here are pre-06/2012 rear braided lines from Goodrich.


Here's one end the stock brake line that'll be replaced showing the fitting which is identical to the Goodrich line on the same end.


Here's the brass block end of things, stock and the Goodrich line. Looks pretty much the same, right?


Now here's a closeup. Notice on the stock line, there's a U-shaped "clip" for lack of a better term which surrounds the hose end. But it doesn't actually clip in to anything. It looks like it's there to keep the assembly from rotating when tightened. This is a 2013 MY vehicle.

It looks like I'd be fine using the pre 06/2012 brake line here. Can anyone else see or think of a reason?
