It's funny you say that because I just did try going softer today, so now I'm half of halfway towards soft (so 12 out in the front and 11 out rear) and it helped a lot. And as embarrassing as it is I have to admit when I goofed. Seems I was misinterpreting what I was feeling. At full soft I was having a rebound buck (also my rear preload wasn't right when first installed), so going against what I know I should have done and go like 2 clicks at a time I went lazy (since I still haven't modded my rear strut covers) so I went 1/2, 1/2. This led to a similar feel but opposite condition (and only got worse when I went even slower) to where the car was staying super planted and staying down over peaks which then causes your body to rise and the car not following your body, giving a similar bucking feel. Had a similar condition when I had too much low speed compression on my bikes to where it wouldn't absorb the smooth crest and compress on the front side so then had little to no negative travel to keep the wheel down.
Anyhow it was very nice today, haven't gone to my test bump yet and don't imagine it will ever smooth that out (just not enough travel on the z) as it's a horrible bump but good to get feedback.
