Default GTR Exhaust manifold

I was just reading a little about the VR38DETT and found that the exhaust manifold w/ the turbos look awfully similar to our twin turbo setups from some vendors.

It also looks like the bolting is very similar and not sure if anybody has tried it in the 370Z or 350Z and whenever it was mentioned before, people just call it stupid.

I'm just looking for an education answer why it can't be used. I'm just collecting ideas for my own TT build and would love to save a little here and there.

Everything just looks like it's exactly the same on the Z and GTR motors. Here's an example of a 350Z turbo manifold, which, correct me if I am wrong, but it would bolt up to the 370Z with no modifications.
350Z's turbo manifold

GTR's

Looking at the VQ37VHR from a similar angle:

Even if there's a slight different in flanges, i'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to cut the GTR one and rotate it/ put in VQ flanges

By no means i'm looking to get a 1k turbo kit, just trying to do everything myself with low power goals.
