So let me make sure I'm understanding you, you want to buy the factory OEM Bose subwoofer? Are you sure? And why? Why not do something else? I just took mine apart earlier tonight to see what's inside...pretty weak. I will say that it sounds pretty good for awhile. I've had my Z for 6-7 mos. and it is almost what I want/need. I'm looking for just a tad bit more bass that is tighter and cleaner, and a little louder.

If you're hooking up an aftermarket amp, I don't think this Bose subwoofer is going to be able to handle it; plus the speakers are 2 ohms. These things are flimpsy little 4" subs.
