I know color matching paint is difficult so I didn't expect these to be dead on, but they're a bit darker than expected. That being said, it does look a lot better than the flat black or the stock silver.
Oddly the passenger side looks a shade darker.
as you can see, it's only something you notice depending on how the light reflects off of it. I'm assuming these will fade a bit with some sun exposure and will be a better match over time. |
Unfortunately that's not the case, did you not have thepainter match a swatch up to the car? I'm getting mine done now and I had 3 variable options for my paint. My mag black Z and Daytona blue 350z we did the same thing and it was dead on.
There is other variables as well, like your paint sprayed on a black base coat verse say a whitebase coat.
