I'm in the camp to make the higher demand for a new bumper.

You made a deal, they did their Sprite Remix bull**** version of it, had you waiting another month to get it how it was supposed to be, and apparently act like it's all cool and **** to leave you with a hole in your bumper that was never supposed to be there in the first place because it wont rust? **** that.

Either have them give you a new bumper, or get it plugged + some additional form of compensation. Like G-S said, connect with their manager because you're dealing with a salesman whose sole specialty is to bull**** his way through everything (no offense to the salesmen who actually have integrity).
