A few tips.
1 - remove the exhaust and various struts, sway bar etc..makes it much easier to remove the diff
2 - You want a power saw at a minimum to saw through the shell of the rear main fluid filled bushing..also be prepared to get squirted when you drill the first hole in it and subsequent holes! I also used an air chisel which really made finishing the removal of the shell easier but not absolutely necessary
3. Fill the diff back up in the bench before you install it..easier than filling it once installed.
4. As the instructions note, freeze the vent tube overnight to shrink it a bit to ease install..use a pin punch to gently tap it into the cover
5. after trying to install the diff (by myself..not fun) having the rear bushing installed and trying to press it into the cross member..I took it off and pressed it in and then installed the diff..easier to stab the mounting stud than with it mounted.
6. Have a friend help if you are using a floor jack to lower and put back..as I noted that diff is heavy!
