From: GTM after fluid change:
4) With the engine idling, hold the steering wheel at each lock position for 3 seconds (do
not exceed 10 seconds as the power steering pump may be damaged) and check for
power steering fluid leaks.**Repeat several times at approximately 3 second intervals.***

6) With the engine idling, check the power steering fluid reservoir for bubbles and white
contamination.**Stop the engine if bubbles and/or white contamination are present.**
After waiting for the bubbles/white contamination to dissipate, repeat step 4.
7) Stop the engine and check the power steering fluid level, fill as necessary
