I was recently in the exact same boat.

After a hard day at the dragstrip, they felt warped. The car had 20k miles. I figured they were probably warped from the mileage and many 100+ mph stops.

I pulled them off, cleaned them up and took them to oreilly's. They were not warped. A light cut on both sides, and I put them back on the car and "ran them in" using the original pads.

They work great! And it only cost me $17.
