I did a search for code u0164 which reads lost communication with unified meter & a/c amp or combination meter and could not find a solid explanation. This happened last yr and I erased the code and havent seen it until last week. i erased the code this morning and it just came back on. my ac is working fine. i have a pioneer head unit that was installed 2yrs ago and i feel If i go the dealership route they will pin it on that for no reason.. any thoughts?? The code does not seem engine related but my mod's are k&n typhoon intake and invidia cbe.
