The roadster comes standard with a kit (pump,& can of sealant) to allow you to maybe get to a place to repair the tire. The small spare is an option but the manual says that the place to store the flat tire after removing it is behind the passenger seat. I just can't see how you could fit one of those big tires behind the seat without tearing something up. Under the carpet is a large Styrofoam piece to take up the space where the tire would go. There are no electronic components mounted in the trunk.
