my parents and wife found a couple of nice houses a while back when we were searching for our home. all looked nice and fully featured, but some had those pillars in the garage.
first sight of them i told my wife and the realtor 'we have a problem
' i needed to be able to detail my cars in da garage.. and those pillars would get into the way.
ended up waiting on a new home getting built with a 2.5 car width garage and no pillars, and told the builder to keep da walls unfinished (more room to puts stuff into, while it may not look as nice).
still ended up not 100% satisfied though as i need a 4 car garage now..
