Ever see how they mine lithium and the pollution that goes with it? Need electric to charge the batteries. Where's that come from? It doesn't grow on trees.
Wind and solar power doesn't product more then 2% of the electric this country uses. Take away the tax credit for them. And you wouldn't see one wind mill, or solar panel. They operate at a lose. Without tax dollars. There is no profit. If you crash the Prius, and are trapped in it. It may be awhile for the local volunteer fire department cuts you out of the car. They have to be certificated to cut you out. Most fear electrocution if they cut the wrong spot, or starting a fire.
