It is hard to predict, but I feel like we are in a small window where:

1) A supercar can be attained by a non-rich person like myself

and

2) cars are still capable of being manually driven

With that being said, I am setting my sights on either a GTR or Supra (depending on what the actual production version will offer) (maybe Lexus) in the next couple years. Anything that is gas-only is off the list.

Also, if you think about it, the Z, Vettes, Porsches and any other sport(y) cars that exist today may become rare classics. What may happen in the future is that they will all become strictly track cars. In 10 years it may be a silly notion to ever have owned a car individually since an app like Uber and autonomous vehicles combined will allow you to get anywhere very conveniently and affordably.

It is a bittersweet thought.

Also, they say that racing an F1 car has become much more difficult since they went to hybrids because of the incredible torque the engines provide.
