You can check if connected to something with an ohm meter and if it is you can start tracing to where it terminates. Either at the door or dash. If it is dead and you're not doing an install just cut it off. Not worth pulling old wire if it's dead and you're not going to do anything. I am also assuming your radio works just fine. It was a sucky removal though.
