If the hose or pumps to short the fuel spits back out because the vent tube is getting fuel in it. I'm guessing this is happening because the charcoal canister and evap stuff must have also been a vent when filling. Also when I take the gas cap off I hear a lot air being released or getting sucked into the tank! Now I know the gas cap will 100% vent if the pressure builds to high but I'm guessing that's in the 20psi range when I tested with my compressor.

Sorry to some what hijack a thread but ive spent hours googling my problem for the 370 and cars in general and this is the only thread that mentions my problem.
I bought the car 2 months ago and it does this, it doesnt want to take gas what so ever. It takes me 10 mins to slowly fill up. When i unscrew the gas cap it has pressure being released.
Today i took the 3 lines that go to the charcoal canister off all at the same time, i was expecting one of them to release pressure but none did. With all 3 lines off i popped the gas cap and it still had pressure.
I would have assumed that the vent line to the gas neck from canister was clogged but given that the actual tank only vents to the canister from the middle hose, im assuming that is clogged given that the tank had pressure in it with the middle hose unplugged.
Thoughts?
