The blue threadlocker is "medium strength removable". Loctite Threadlocker Colors. Apply a small line of it across several threads of the shifter assembly (easier than trying to apply it inside the knob).
Yep I am going to go buy the loctite now. It just bothers me how some people get to align it right and for some reason mine doesn't
