Reviving an older thread because I was wondering what everyone else listened to/wanted to make sure I was cruising correctly .

I've been loving blues-rock albums with a heavy beat while driving the Z.. examples:
God Knows I Tried - Junior Kimbrough, he made a bunch of great driving albums
Give It Back To You - The Record Company
Chulahoma and Thickfreakness - Black Keys

For longer drives, my absolute favorite is Eat a Peach by the Allman Brothers.

Might be outside of some peoples' tastes (first heard them on Sirius "Jam Band" channel) but Greensky Bluegrass's album When Sorrows Swim is also real good, especially the song Kerosene. It's more bluegrassy (obviously) and part jam band but fast bluegrass in a fast car while driving winding roads makes me feel like I'm running liquor back in Prohibition.
