it's the same Attesa ETS style used on previous AWD Skylines and G's. it monitors wheel speed and wheel slip percentage. based on which wheels have the most traction it will transfer power where it can be best used. this helps keep the car pointed where you want it to go and helps you drive straight in slippery road conditions. (snow / mud)
