Default Pioneer AVH-4200NEX install

Hey guys, I just got my 2013 370z base model without Bose back in April and after doing all of the research and gathering the parts, im finally taking a crack at installing my audio system. The trouble I'm having is with the Metra 70-7552 wiring harness. When I try to connect it to the radio harness it doesn't seem to click all the way in. Whenever I tried to turn the car on to test the radio, it doesn't come on, which shows me that there is no power. Usually I just cut into the factory harness and solder up my connections, but since this is my first new car, I decided to use a harness for the first time. I also read that the Metra harness may have pins in the incorrect spots which will have to be rearranged. Being that this is my first time using a harness, I'm not sure if I will have to rearrange the pins. I looked at the wiring diagram in another thread and everything looks to be the same, but I also noticed that my factory harness is missing one yellow wire that I think was labeled "steering wheel speed" or something like that. Basically I just need help figuring out of my pins are in the right location, why there isn't power, and if I'm using the correct harness. Thank you in advance for any help. And if there is a thread already detailing these specifics that I couldn't find, I'd appreciate it if someone could point me to it. Also this is my first post so please bear with me as I try to learn how to post pictures from my phone.
