It's funny how you keep making comparisons to other people's work, like Nissan or other shops, and making statements about how much people are getting for the $250, to justify whatever product you're delivering. It wasn't "a speck or two" on the handles. There were several "specks" and what looked like a deflated bubble in one. You even argued with me about it over PM and stated: "Is the imperfections even noticeable with the handles mounted and standing 2-3 ft away?" Then in an above post made some comment about solvent pop. To me it clearly sounds like you know the poor quality being sent out and just don't care. It wasn't even $250 work in my opinion. I've seen work for $150 from other shops on small parts that looked flawless. Going through you really just goes back to the core swap convenience.
I didn't state take ownership of the delays. You're quite vocal about that and telling people to leave you alone because you don't have time or have some other reason why not to deliver. I stated you should take ownership of your cash flow problem and issuing refunds. It's not my fault you don't have the proper funds.
What it boils down to is simple. Either you have the time and attention to run a proper business or you don't. Sounds like you don't. If it's a hobby, then don't charge people, just do it for fun. But don't get defensive when people get upset that the handles they paid for a month ago arrived massively delayed and with subpar quality. As I stated before though, shame on me for expecting any different.
Good news is I just received my new handles, side markers, emblems, and badges to have a professional local shop paint and do this the right way.
