id start by using just corner dots to make an outline of ur track. to make a fun track u really need to drive ur rc car though it many times to get the feel of how fun it actually is to drive through it.
like some shitty track are like a faking zig zag mofo maze which might be technical, it's not fun to drive it AT ALL.
