The computer knows that you purchased a particular car somewhere along the way. It does not know if you actually drive that car or still own it. I get similar mailings for cars I haven't owned in five or more years.

Sure, they'll purchase your car. For $25K? ROFLMAO The price they are mentioning is full retail (what they would try to sell it for) - hard to stay in business if you're not making a profit.

As others have mentioned, this is just a come-on to get you in the showroom. Ie, circular file material.

But there's no harm in asking and you may learn a valuable lesson about dealerships. Go ahead and see what they will offer for your car. My bet is that you will be sorely disappointed.
