I am using the term in that the hood is not purely CF, hence the "Carbon Fiber" comment I made. Seibon is known to use CF as a layer when producing its hoods & other parts, typically the outer layer for show, but I view it is more of a "wrap" since it is just wrapping around FRP or another product.
