really? I tried some non-SRM mode downshifting and found it easier to downshift rev match with the pedal than without. well by that I mean a lot smoother.

remember you are drawing out that window so technically even on a regular SRM shift you are still slipping the clutch. instead of a 0.1 second engage/disengage its now 0.15s for example.
