My G feels faster then my Z and it hurts...
My G feels faster then my Z
I have noticed ever since I started using the paddle shifters in my 7at G37S coupe more often sort of recently that my G pulls noticeably harder then my 6MT Z. Particularly in 2nd gear... it doesn't really matter what rpm I am at in the G in 2nd, it will pull hard if I give it gas. BUT... if I am in 2nd in my Z and give it gas the rpm really has to be higher up before it starts goin really fast, like I can floor it but if its not revved up higher it'll take a bit to build up speed. Thats fine I get that but how come in my G it just feels like it really pulls in 2nd even around 3k but in the Z i gotta wait for it to get to 5-6k maybe before it really pulls?
It may just be in my head but I feel like my G is just faster when using the paddle shifters and I don't really get it.. My Z should feel faster just because its so much smaller and lighter right?? Has anyone noticed this that has driven a G too? In fact I bet its probably the same way in the 7at Zs. They probably just pull really hard... I am not a pro at driving a manual, I learned on the Z 2.5 years ago but I feel really good with it now and I don't think that is the issue... A lot of times I just feel like the Z is slower.. maybe its in my head.. maybe it is and I just got a slow Z.. or maybe I just completely suck at life driving a manual but that can't be 100% the reason here.. NO matter what I still love my Z its way sexier then the G and I love that its a manual. I still love both. But the G feels faster.
